Any links or pictures shown here in green do exist and may be used. Any links or pictures shown in red do not exist in the system.
URL: The complete URL of the link or the picture is shown here.
Link Category: You may select a link category here, as long as link categories have been created before. Select a category by double clicking on [Select]. All of the existing categories will be displayed. Sorting is important to productive use of the BACKCLICK statistics later on. See Chapter “Link Categories,” for more information.
Link Label: The link may be renamed here, but only for internal use. The link label will replace the URL in the statistics, for a more informational overview. This function is not required, but is appropriate for the use and overview of BACKCLICK statistics. See Chapter “Link Categories,” for more information.
SPAM Check
Spam Check lets you check the likelihood that a BACKCLICK newsletter will be blocked by a spam filter. This is done through Apache Software’s “SpamAssassin”. This CANNOT verify every instance of blockage, because the personal settings of every subscriber must be taken into consideration.

To start the spam check, click on the "Check"-button. You will then receive a report in two parts:
1. Check: Green indicates a very low probability that the e-mail will be considered spam. Yellow indicates a somewhat higher probability that it will be seen as spam. Red indicates a probability of close to 100% that the e-mail will be considered spam. The value that is displayed depends on the e-mail’s evaluation in the report. Penalty points are allocated here, in accordance with the general rules that pertain to sending spam. Tips for getting the most out of your newsletter may be found in the attached report. The penalty points are summarized in a value.
2. Report: For more information about the report from SpamAssassin, please visit the website of SpamAssassin!
