Basics on E-mail on Demand

Basics on e-mail on Demand

In addition to conveying your product news and marketing messages to subscribers via newsletter, BACKCLICK also ofers an automated e-mail answering system: E-mail on Demand. E-Mail on Demand is not just an automated reply system for incoming e-mails, but may be used to publish electronic information as well. The E-mail on Demand function lets you send your potential customers various forms of secondary information about different topics. E-Mail on Demand builds on the previous success of Fax on Demand, as a simple and effective way to provide information. It is even more user-friendly, and may be sent with the same personalized PDF attachments as the BACKCLICK newsletters. It provides another way to reach potentially interested customers who respond to the BACKCLICK newsletters.

E-mail on Demand functions

E-mail on Demand is an automated e-mail answering system, which means that a predefined answer text is connected to an e-mail address. If an e-mail is sent to this address, the E-mail on Demand function answers automatically and sends the text (or the file) to the sender immediately. You only need to prepare the text (or file) once. You can change or update this text simply and quickly, at any time. The inquiry from the interested party is referred to you simultaneously, and you may correspond with this individual. In the interim, the potential customer will get a positive impression of your product and your company. Or you may simply put your terms and conditions of business onto the World Wide Web in this form.

To explain the advantages of E-Mail on Demand for your company and customers, we will use the following example: A bicycle shop owner with 100 different bikes in his product catalog may also send out information about novelties, leisure activities, advertising for the next bicycle fair, or product news. These e-mails, terms, and conditions may be specific to every individual model of bike. Only one E-mail on Demand account needs to be set up for each type of bike. The customer who is interested in certain bikes in the shop simply sends an e-mail to the account you established, and immediately receives the desired information. By integrating the web forms, you may also respond to the e-mail address, with the desired information, from your Web page. Such e-mail generating web forms are easy to prepare. Both you and your customers will save time you would have spent on sending out individualized e-mails. Customers will remain satisfied, because they may request the information they want at any time, anywhere in the world, just by accessing your Web page. In addition, customers are spared a long wait for the information, because they receive it immediately by e-mail. E-mail on Demand is the perfect solution if you wish to offer certain services to your customers without using up staff time and resources. If users look on the World Wide Web for the products and services that interest them, they expect the information to be available. The World Wide Web is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the information they want may be accessed at any time in the future. You will be able to use your time for more important work, by automating segments of your e-mail correspondence. You will save on personnel expenditures, and will have contented customers. Equally important is the fact that you will obtain important information about your customers via e-mail: Their e-mails will inform you about their interests, while the e-mail addresses may be entered into the subscriber database of BACKCLICK. This information makes it possible for you to send target-group-specific, personalized advertising via newsletter. You can, of course, also connect the E-mail on Demand function to your newsletter. You can assign a newsletter to an E-mail on Demand account under the menu item “Create mailing list.”
