Event and Transaction Manager 

The Event and Transaction Manager is a new component of BACKCLICK 5.0. Using this component, BACKCLICK may carry out predefined actions ordered by BACKCLICK customers. The actions will be started by BACKCLICK-specific events that take place while BACKCLICK is running. 

Events that BACKCLICK reacts to may include, for example: subscription/unsubscription of subscribers, a click on a link, the opening of an HTML e-mail, the sending of a newsletter, or the receipt of a bounced e-mail. After one of those events takes place, one action or a series of actions may be initiated. These actions can include: changes in the subscriber’s data, unsubscription of a subscriber from a mailing list, and the sending of an e-mail or newsletter to a mailing list (see "Campaign Management"). Not every event must be followed by an action. It is possible to define rules for every type of event, for example,“Event --> start sending a newsletter”. But an action will only take place if the newsletter is sent to the predefined mailing list.
